The video-art piece “Enso” is about the relationship between the sacred matter and nature. About the life cycles through which we perceive the world around us and ultimately create humanity as we understand it today. The name Ensoo came from Zen. In Zen, Enso is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. The mechanism for drawing these circles is something like a life cycle. For me, nature is generally the only reference to “the sublime”. And any attempt to build a “sublime” in the field of human culture; It is an attempt to reconstruct what we have seen in nature. Thus, I do not see a boundary between nature and the sublime or the sacred matter.
